It depends on the time you invest and the knowledge you bring. Because there are no artificial speed caps, dedicated students can complete a bachelor's in as little as one year. You're never forced to slow down.
Competency-based simply means you earn credit by demonstrating that you've learned something — through a project or assessment — rather than by sitting in class for a set number of weeks. If you already know a topic, you can move through it quickly.
You pay a single flat rate for each 8-week "Sprint," and you can complete as many courses in that Sprint as you're able to. The faster you work, the fewer Sprints you need — so accelerating actually lowers your total cost.
